YOU REMIND ME OF A FEW FAMOUS FRIENDS
WELL THAT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU QUALIFY AS FRIENDS

Brooklyn academy was founded by Mechtilda-Frances Van Schoonhoven in the year 1901 during the second Boer war, the rich British families had fled there out of harms way, these were the only rank of people able to get to the border due to their high status and means of travelling. Arriving in the area the rich British people had found that the Dutch had already settled in the area and Mechtilda-Frances Van Schoonhoven had started up the school becoming the leader of the group, the high standard British were not welcome at first although they had been living in Britain all their life and their families too. The British were soon able to make themselves welcome, threatening the Dutch to alert the police due to them being in the country illegally. Feuds broke out with the families yet they were controlled by the threatening British and the Dutch had decided not to leave due to all the time spent creating the town. Mechtilda-Frances Van Schoonhoven had made an attempt to create peace by starting up the school, she had used her mansion to create it, the wealthy British had already settled in and made their homes using the recourses in the area. Soon enough the war had ended yet the Dutch & British had decided not to leave the area, they had already started up a life there, the Dutch feeding off the wealth of the British, the small community stayed the same size during the years, nobody coming across their settlement. In the year 1950 things slowly began to change, the area was becoming more modernized and more and more people began to come to the area. The area had become a huge tourist attraction yet people made it clear no more people were welcome, the poor mingled with the rich yet they did not manage to get themselves into the high society built, a few had managed secure homes in the area and a few poor teenagers got scholars into the school.

It is now the year 2005, family feuds still held strong and the poor still shunned to the side

BUT MAY THINGS BEGIN TO CHANGE?
